Our Mission
To inspire and empower every student to master Primary Science through innovative, effective and inclusive teaching strategies. We are committed to nurturing confidence, curiosity and critical thinking in students, guiding them to achieve academic excellence and a lifelong love for learning.
Our Philosophy
We believe that every student has the potential to excel in Science with the right guidance and strategies. Traditional role memorisation is no longer sufficient; instead, we emphasize understanding, practical application and collaborative learning. Our approach centers on the S.O.A.R. methodology, developed through extensive research, which encourages active engagement, problem-solving and higher-order thinking. At Genohouse, we foster a supportive environment where students are motivated to reach their highest potential, turning knowledge into action and building a solid foundation for future success.

Our Teaching Strategies
At Genohouse, we've invested in understanding how students learn best, developing effective systems and materials that accelerate Science learning and drive real success.
With the implementation of the MOE AL scoring system for primary school students, success shifts from outperforming the cohort to achieving personal excellence. Instead of competing against peers, students are encouraged to learn collaboratively and support one another, creating a supportive and motivating environment that drives growth.
Small Group Learning
At Genohouse, small group learning is central to boosting student results. Our structured Science curricula promote active participation, where students brainstorm, share ideas and explore knowledge from different perspectives. This collaborative approach not only sharpens critical thinking and analytical skills, but also fosters in-depth discussions that deepen understanding. Our teaching strategies are geared towards nurturing confident, high-achieving and well-rounded students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

K.E.E.P. System - Powering Effective Small Group Learning in Science
At Genohouse, we understand that mastering science for primary school students requires more than just classroom time. That's why we developed the K.E.E.P. system, a proven method designed specifically for small group learning in our tuition centre. This comprehensive system ensures that students not only learn effectively, but also retain knowledge long-term, giving them a strong foundation for academic success.

K.E.E.P. integrates the S.O.A.R. methodology and our carefully curated topical summary maps that highlight key Science concepts and thinking processes, significantly reducing revision time. Genohouse also uses memory techniques like mnemonics to help students remember important Science content effortlessly.

Genohouse purposefully tailors timed assessments and exercises to prepare students thoroughly for exams.
To evaluate their learning outcome, Genohouse closely monitors and reviews the application of our strategies using resources from our curated materials, school assignments and past year papers. Our weekly lesson materials are selected from our extensive database of questions created by our curriculum team, and are customised to align with the progress of the classes to ensure that learning takes place at the optimal pace.

Over the years, the system has proven to help over thousands of students regardless of past academic performances to achieve remarkable improvement in Science, with many students consistently scoring above 85%.
S.O.A.R. Methodology
Simplify. Organise. Analyse. Rationalise

S.O.A.R. is an innovative streamlined thinking process developed by Genohouse, designed to empower students in effectively managing and mastering information. Whether used as a study method or a problem-solving approach, S.O.A.R. enables students to break down overwhelming amounts of information into manageable units, while applying proven strategies to excel in the field of Science.

Our comprehensive approach includes the strategic analytical process known as 3C-analysis, guiding students through a step-by-step methodology for solving problems and presenting answers with precision. By incorporating the right structure and targeted keywords, S.O.A.R. equips students with the tools to achieve perfect scores, particularly benefitting those who grasp the concepts but struggle to express them flawlessly.
